A new direct mount transmitter from ABB, Model 264DD is capable of being configured with a direct mount diaphragm seal or, on the low pressure side, combined with a remote diaphragm seal. Offering interchangeability and transmitter upgrade capabilities, due to supported integration with HART®, PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus platforms, this device demonstrates a base accuracy of ±0.075% and the following span limits: 0.54 to 16000kPa; 2.14 inH2O to 2320psi.
The 264DD is ideal for close tank level measurement applications, due largely to its consistency and stability during use. It features in-field replaceable electronics and auto-configuration functionality. To elevate total performance during use, a vast selection of sensor options are available.
Featuring Taylor’s “All-Welded” technology and a MTBF of over 200 years, this transmitter is PED compliant to sound engineering practice (SEP) and offers complete installation flexibility.
