Foxboro Model IGP25 I/A Series Multirange Gauge Pressure Transmitter

The multirange Foxboro® brand I/A Series® Model IGP25 is a smart two-wire transmitter that delivers consistently accurate measurement of gauge pressure. Noted as offering the measurement range and performance of “two transmitters in one”, this device broadcasts a 4 to 20 mA or digital output signal, as applicable, using HART® or FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus communication protocol for remote monitoring, configuration and calibration.

The IGP25’s sleek, minimalistic sensor is constructed using minimal parts for superior dependability and its fully-welded assembly contains process pressure without the use of gaskets. This transmitter is ideal for hazardous area installations, with available versions that meet Agency flameproof and zone requirements. With silicon strain gauge sensors that have been field-proven over thousands of installations and the option of rugged aluminum or 316 ss housing (both meeting IP66 and NEMA® 4X ratings), the IGP25 achieves top measurement performance.

The IGP25 uses only two sensors, with 400:1 turndown capability each, to realize broad measurement spans (from 3.5 to 14 000 kPa (0.5 to 2000 psi)). This transmitter’s optional mounting bracket sets support pipe or surface mounting, among other options. FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus varieties are FISCO and FNICO compliant. Multi-marking is obtainable for HART® electronic styles for FM, CSA and ATEX innately safe installations.

Extremely skillful at streamlining planning, ordering, and spares procurement and stocking, the IGP25 is offered with local configuration and an optional LCD Indicator with on-board pushbuttons. This transmitter is CE marked, follows applicable EMC, ATEX and PED European Union Directives and is Dual Seal Certified by CSA for meeting ANSI/ISA 12.27.01-2003 specifications.
