Rosemount 3051SFA ProBar Flow Meter
The Rosemount 3051SFA ProBar® Differential Pressure Flow Meter is a flow-measuring solution that delivers masterful performance when applied to a wide range of applications.
Differential pressure (DP) flow meters function by utilizing a primary element that senses an impact pressure and reference pressure with sensing ports. Flow measurements are then determined by averaging the two pressure readings.
The dependable, fully-integrated 3051SFA is the product of combining the capabilities of the Rosemount 3051S pressure transmitter and the exceptional performance of the Rosemount 485 Annubar® primary element. Ultra effective with clean liquids, the 3051SFA incorporates pressure transmitter electronics with the primary element to cut costs, save time and increase installation flexibility.

Rosemount 3051S Multivariable Pressure Transmitter
The Rosemount 3051S Multivariable Pressure Transmitter offers customized diagnostics, performance, functionality and connection systems for each application. This scalable transmitter delivers pressure, temperature and fully compensated mass and energy flow measurements.
Its innovative capabilities and software include:
- user-configured flow units
- 4-20mA signal based on Hart® Communication or FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus
- low flow cut-off
- process alerts for temperature and pressure
Annubar® Primary Flow Elements
Annubar® Primary Flow Elements achieve tight process control through elevated signal strength and minimized signal noise. Their revolutionary shape affords greater precision and repeatability of each flow measurement point.
A sealed, pressure-retaining thermowell that allows mass flow in every line size with a single pipe penetration is included with the patented T-shaped sensor. Instantaneous mass flow measurements are obtainable due to the elements’ integral temperature sensor design.
The following two Annubar® primary elements are offered:
The general-purpose 285 Annubar® is a basic primary element with an accuracy of ±1.0% and is offered in a duct mount version.
The higher-accuracy (±0.75%) 485 Annubar® is offered with more custom options, such as materials and surface finishes for applications with a high Reynolds Number.
