Rosemount 3300 Series Level and Interface Transmitter
Designed to leverage guided wave radar technology, the Rosemount™ 3300 Series Level and Interface Transmitter uses digital sampling and a superior signal to noise ratio to deliver accurate measurements on liquids and slurries. It operates without issue in harsh conditions, as its performance is not impacted by interference from dust, vapor and turbulence. This smart transmitter is loop-powered and includes a PC software package to aid configuration.
The dependable guided wave Rosemount™ 3300 performs masterfully with measurements that are largely unaltered by temperature, pressure, turbulence, density, vapor gas mixtures, bubbling / boiling, viscosity and varying dielectric media. Technology that guides waves along the probe makes this transmitter ideal for situations involving small and narrow tanks / tank openings.
Featuring two-wire technology, the 3300 allows for streamlined installation and commissioning. Its durable, modular construction includes a dual compartment housing permitting removal without opening the tank.
The Rosemount™ 3300 Series Level and Interface Transmitter proficiently determines level measurements on the majority of liquids, semi-liquids, some solids and liquid / liquid interfaces. Direct level measurement eliminates any need for compensation for changes in pressure, temperature, dielectric, conductivity or density. The 3300 is also well-suited for smaller-than-average or differently-shaped tanks.
The Rosemount™ 3301 Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is used for both liquid and some solid applications, while the Rosemount™ 3302 Multivariable ™ Guided Wave Radar Level and Interface Transmitter is used for liquid applications only.
