Haygor Instrument was founded in 1973 in Pasadena, TX and in the late 1970’s was incorporated and became a Texas Corporation. Haygor Instrument and Company, Inc. has been and is currently owned by the Bishop family. In 1981 George Bishop moved the company to its current location near Hobby Airport in Houston, TX. After nearly 40 years of dedication to the company and the industry, in 2017 George decided it was time to retire and sold his company to his son, Allen Bishop. Growing up in the business over the past 40 years, Allen learned everything he knows from his father and proudly continues the legacy that George started.
Once a small job shop, Mr. Bishop and his family has since turned Haygor in to a full service facility serving the petro-chemical, oil and gas, cryogenic, medical industries to name a few.
As the company has expanded and grown exponentially over the years the “small family owned business” mindset has not changed. Mr. Bishop believes and has instilled values like “The customer is always right” to all of the employees. We believe in order to be successful and offer the best service, we must have strong moral values and follow those values each and every day.
Over the years Haygor has grown with the industries that we serve as well as serving new industries along the way.
Our capabilities include sales and repairs of all types and brands of instrumentation used in the petro-chemical, oil and gas, and cryogenic industries. This instrumentation includes but not limited to new and remanufactured Transmitters, Controllers, Diaphragm Seals, Gauges, Chart Recorders and data acquisition systems, and Valve Positionersand Actuators.
Our specialized services include NIST traceable calibrations, cleaning for Oxygen and Chlorine Service, CNC and manual machining and welding, and parts manufacturing.
Haygor has also become a leading manufacturer of Diaphragm Seals offering all standard diaphragm seal assemblies as well as made to order specific customer designs.
